TRENTON SHIPLEY
Trenton received extensive training thoughout Australia in Ballroom and Latin American Dance and went on to further his training with specialists in London. His ballroom dancing history includes being: British Junior Finalist, International Finalist (Royal Albert Hall London), Australian Latin American, Ballroom and New Vogue Dance Champion and has represented Australia at the world championships in Switzerland and Germany.
As a freelance dancer and entertainer Trenton has worked on a variety of television and theatre productions such as Shakespeare's "The Tragedy of Richard II", "Much Ado About Nothing", the Russian drama "The Forest" and Sam Sheppard's American theatre classic "Buried Child".
More recently Trenton was invited to coach and perform in series 3 of "Dancing with the Stars" where his partner Chris Bath and he came runners up. Trenton is the primary instructor at Broadway Ballroom and has taught Latin American and Ballroom Dancing throughout Australia, Hong Kong, Japan and North America. Trenton also boasts a degree in Acting from Queensland University of Technology's Academy of the Arts.
