COURSE STRUCTURE
You need an acting process that will meet professional demands ON command. It is also important to note that everyone is different and will be triggered and released by different techniques. The Full-time Course has been constructed in such a way that you will receive the most advanced and important acting theory available today. Theories include: Laban, Morris, Saint-Denis, Chekhov, Stanislavski, Grotowski, Benedetti, Spolin and Johnstone. These strategies and techniques will integrate and work alongside each other allowing you to form a workable, effective professional approach to any acting demand. Unique to the Full-time program is its structure where in First & Second Year you train 3 days per week on campus, and two days per week off campus is your time for reflection, digestion, further research, consolidation, and also time to work, to live. In the Third Year we add an extra 1/2 day on campus in order to reflect the demands of the industry. Welcome to our way toward artistic productivity.

Each year is a module in itself, dedicated to specific skills and outcomes. With your training guided in this way, we aim to accelerate your learning because you encounter each aspect of your acting training at the appropriate time, in the appropriate order, for true and sustained integration. Pressure on the individual to ‘prove’ and ‘force and demonstrate' early results is avoided, and therefore the work gets in deep to provide you with a solid foundation. IMPORTANT: Throughout your training, our aim is to cast you in precisely what we believe your current training needs demand. We do not subscribe to conservative play production, where a student could find themselves cast in inappropriate roles that may not serve their development. We aim to personalise your castings for your entire journey, and therefore you can rely on challenges every step of the way. This is a unique approach and one that ensures you are working at your premium with every project. In other words, highly personalised training leading to highly personal development. |
